Some Homemade Detox Drinks
A very popular and easy to make detox drink. Squeeze out the juice of 1 lemon and add to a glass of warm water. Stir well and take it first thing in the morning. It will help to flush out the waste, cleanse the blood and detoxify the system. This detox drink will also aid in weight loss.
You will need : 1/2 a cucumber, 1 lemon, 1 inch ginger piece, 10 mint leaves and 2 liters water. Take 1 liter water in a glass flask. Thinly slice the cucumber after peeling it and also, thinly slice the lemon. Add to the water. Grate the ginger and add to the water. Finally, add the mint leaves. Stir the entire mixture a couple of times, cover and refrigerate overnight This detox drink is usable the next morning. Add honey to taste if needed.
A homemade detox drink that you can make. You will need: 3/4 cup, fresh or 100% pineapple juice (the one with no added sugar), 1 lemon, 1 cup pomegranate juice, 3 cups water. Mix all the ingredients and stir well. The detox drink is ready. This drink will flush the kidneys.
To make dandelion root tea, you can use dandelion root powder or fresh dandelion root. If you have freshly pulled out dandelion root from your garden, first wash off all the dirt under running water. If needed soak the root in water for about 15 minutes to loosen stubborn dirt and then pat dry. Chop the root into small pieces and bake in the oven at 150 degrees for 2 hours. Now you are ready to make dandelion root tea. Take 1 tbsp of dandelion root or 1/2 tbsp of dandelion root powder. Add to 250 ml water and boil for 5 minutes. Cinnamon can be added before boiling, about 1/4 stick, to make it more palatable. Strain the root out and add honey if you need to sweeten it. To make dandelion leaf tea : Add 2 tsp of powdered dandelion leaves to 1 cup of boiled water. Steep for 10 minutes. Strain and drink.
Cranberry juice has Vitamin C, antioxidants and manganese. It helps to flush out bacteria and preventing UT infections thereby keeping the urinary tract healthy. To make a detox drink, add 4 parts of water to 1 part of fresh or 100% cranberry juice.

Here's a great detox drink that you can easily make at home. You will need: Fresh orange juice , 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 lemon, 1 inch ginger piece, 4 to 5 mint leaves and some rock salt. To make it, add 1 tsp brown sugar to a bowl. Grate the 1 inch ginger piece and add to this. Add salt to taste. Cut a lime into 4 quarters and then cut each quarter into two. Add to the bowl. Tear the mint leaves by hand add to the bowl. Muddle this mixture. Now add this muddled mixture to a glass and top up with fresh orange juice. Stir well. Pour this detox drink into martini glasses, sprinkle some rock salt over it, add a lemon slice and you are set for a tasty and refreshing drink treat. Benefits of this drink.
