The Eatwell Plate And The Food GroupsThe eatwell plate shown along side shows that all food items have been divided into 5 groups of food. We need to consume specific servings or amounts of foods from each of these food groups, everyday, to stay healthy.
The food groups are :
Fruits & Vegetables Group
The Carbohydrates Group - Breads, Potatoes, Rice etc
Milk & Dairy Group
Meat, Fish, Eggs Group
Fatty & Sugary Foods And Drinks
